AFTERCARE PROGRAM As we begin our sixteenth year of extended care, Janice Matt will again facilitate the program. The program will start on Wednesday September 3, 2008 and run from 2:30pm to 6:00pm on all school days except half-days. Our aftercare program is located in the barn behind the school and parish center.
Attendance, change into play clothes (optional), snack time (children bring their own), outdoor play (weather permitting) or indoor activities, quiet time, homework or quiet play (games, puzzles, videos, TV) We will be playing on the playground and/or in the gym. Therefore, children should be dressed in play clothes. Children are expected to go outside with the group unless we are notified to the contrary by a parent. Janice must be contacted with any changes in your child’s/children’s after school schedule, as she is responsible for the daily attendance sheets. If you are unable to contact her please notify us at St. Rita School and we will notify Janice. We will not accept occasionals because it causes worker scheduling problems. Therefore, we require a solid commitment from you.
