Admission Procedures
Preschool
To be admitted to the three year old class, a child must be three (3) on the day they start school. The child must also be able to independently use the bathroom and immunized according to New York State regulations.
To be admitted to the four year old class, a child must be four (4) by December 1st. The child must also be able to independently use the bathroom and immunized according to New York State regulations.
Kindergarten
To be admitted to Kindergarten, a child must be five (5) years old by December 1st of the school year entered. All immunizations must be up to date before a child can be admitted to school according to New York State regulations.
Transfer Students
All students transferring into St. John Neumann School (Grades 1-6) must present copies of records from his or her former school. These records should include standardized test scores, New York State Assessment Scores, and a copy of the latest report card.
