Middle School Classes

In the Middle School, students become self-disciplined scholars, and responsible citizens. Because of our rigorous academic curriculum, individual attention, and high expectations, our students are well-prepared for the future academic success.

Sixth graders at Immaculate Conception take Religion, Mathematics, Social Studies, Reading, English, and Science 5 days a week. They participate in Physical Education and Music 2 days a week and take Art class 1 day a week.

Homework teaches students organizational and time management skills as well as allowing students to practice and expand on knowledge learned during the school day. Middle school students have homework nightly and are also expected to set aside time to read and review class material.

Community Service

Middle school students are expected to be leaders in the school and to develop the skills needed to be leaders in the community. Along with periodic service projects, middle school students work at the Immaculate Conception Church food pantry on Tuesdays.
