Our lunchroom supervisor is Mrs. Vicki John.
Immaculate Conception School offers a hot lunch program in conjunction with the Ithaca City School District. Hot lunch is available each day from the Ithaca City School District lunch program. Cost of a hot lunch is $2.00 and includes milk or juice. Families who are eligible may participate in the free or reduced (25¢) lunch program. Applications are available in the school office and must be submitted each year.
Orders are placed on a monthly basis. Families may choose to order for as many or as few days as they wish. There are generally two hot lunch items from which to choose. Other options available daily by pre-order include melted cheese sandwich, melted cheese bagel, yogurt and graham crackers, peanut butter & jelly sandwich.
Students may bring a nutritious lunch from home. 2% white milk, 2% chocolate milk, orange juice, apple juice or grape juice may be purchased for 60¢ each.
Reduced lunch pricing is available for those falling within certain income guidelines. Please contact the school for the appropriate application paperwork.

At the end of each month, we will send home a copy of the next month’s menu and order form. The order form needs to be completed with what your child wants each day he/she is buying lunch for the month and returned to school promptly with payment. Even those families on free and reduced lunch need to complete an order form. This is to ensure that we will have enough food each day for all students wishing to buy lunch. Checks for milk or lunch are to be made out to Immaculate Conception School.
On Thursdays, students may order pizza slices from Papa John’s. Cheese or pepperoni slices are available for $1.25/slice. Students will order what they want each Thursday morning in their classroom. Younger students should bring their money in an envelope with their name on it. Milk or juice may be purchased for 60¢. (Papa John’s pizza orders should not be entered on the lunch order form. However, milk or juice may be ordered and paid for with the hot lunch order.)
On Fridays, we sell a variety of Perry’s ice cream products for 50¢ each. Students can choose the type of ice cream they want. Students should bring their money on Fridays to pay when they get their ice cream.
Students are to eat their lunch in the cafeteria with their classmates. When finished, they are to clean up after themselves and wash off their eating area. Please discuss with your child the importance of eating a nutritious lunch and not throwing it out.
We request that parents volunteer to help us on pizza and ice cream days. The lunch period is from 11:00 to 12:30 most days (except when something special is planned). We also welcome volunteers to help us on other days with supervision and assistance to students.
