Immaculate Conception School is a private, co-educational Catholic school for children in pre-kindergarten through 6th grade and is conveniently located in downtown Ithaca. Since 1884, Immaculate Conception School has cultivated the intellectual and creative talents of students of all faiths, ethnic identities and economic backgrounds while providing them with a firm moral foundation that lasts a lifetime.

Immaculate Conception is the only Catholic school in Tompkins County. We enroll students from eight area school districts. Our total school enrollment averages 110 students with an overall school student/faculty ratio of 15:1. All of our faculty members have professional degrees in education. The school is accredited by the New York State Education Department. In addition to classroom teachers, our staff includes a full-time physical education teacher, two art teachers, a school nurse and several teacher’s aides.
