Inclement Weather School Closings Listen for Corning Painted Post School District
As winter weather will soon be upon us, we just want to remind you to listen to the local radio or TV stations in the morning for alerts to school closings and delays. We will not be listed as All Saints Academy; you will need to listen for the Corning Painted Post School District.

This is a good habit to have every morning. There have been school closings in the past for severe cold and wind chill advisories. So just because the roads may look fine there may be other reasons for closings.

TV Stations that have the crawl on the bottom of the screen, WETM TV 18 and WENY TV 36. All the local radio stations also report very frequently through the morning. Corning-Painted Post school district typically posts the decision to delay or cancel school by 6:00 am. The link is: http://www.corningareaschools.com/. If you look on the right hand side of the page, you will see a block of text dedicated to alerting families about school cancellation

If there is a school closing, we will not run the Stay And Play Program. If school is dismissed early because of weather conditions we will hold Stay And Play until the last of the students are picked up by 5:30 pm.

If you hear that the school has a two-hour delay, please do NOT send your child to school until 9:45 am.

School personnel will also be arriving later because of the road conditions. Please also listen to the radio or TV, as they have also cancelled school after announcing a two-hour delay. This is another reason not to bring your child early to school.
