Grants Awarded to ASA in 2007-2008

Partners in Faith - $2500 for wireless networking was granted in November 2007. This grant will be currently being planned for best implementation. (Anticipated completion: Summer 2008)

A Joyous Gift from the Church-In-The-World Committee was received for a 2 year grant valued at $17,600 in 2008 and $3,600 in 2009. With this and the Partners in Faith grant we will implement new technologies, resources, and receive training to advance teaching first in Math but then in many other subjects.
Grants Awarded to ASA in 2006-2007
- SCT BOCES Grant awarded to Mrs. Broderick
- Table top burner to convert our video to DVD will help us view our speech patterns and body language. Seeing is believing and from there we can improve ourselves.
- Implementation in the Spring of 07.
- DOR Global Climate Change Grant awarded to Mrs. Liriano
- Recycling project to collect the many papers, and bottles and cans in the school. Learning to make paper will be a fun project out of this!
- Implementation in the Winter/Spring of 08.
- DOR Global Climate Change Grant awarded to Mrs. Broderick
- Clean Air message kites will fly high after a presentation from some of our friends at Corning Incorporated. The Parish and School will come together for this event.
- Implementation in the Fall of 07. (Completed)
