Extracurricular Happenings

Chinese Club - Chinese Club is a huge success. Come learn how to speak the language. See the posted schedule for alternating Mondays and come learn about this fascinating culture. It is open to all grade levels. You are always welcome. You never know when that dragon will appear!

Band lessons are on Mondays this year for students in Grades 4 - 8. Please remember your instruments and to send your payments to Paul Effman Music by the 1st of the month. Mr. Wolfe is our director.

Ski Club for grades 5 - 8. Mr. Snyder has been taking the group up even on these cold, cold weekends. But they don't seem to mind!

Enrichment Club will return this year! Kids - listen for the announcements for the reminders. Wonderful projects are planned ato learn new skills and to do projects to benefit the community.

Girls basketball season is on from September - November. The Saints need their fans to cheer them on. Let's show them our pride all through out the season! Good luck girls. Go Saints!

Boys basketball is December through March. They need support as well. Pride, Spirit, Cheering! Let's make some noise this year!

Gabriel and Cherub Choir has been singing, singing, singing! Signing events and lovely songs. If you'd still like to join, please see Mrs. Broderick.

Chess Club  is underway with Mr. Snyder during lunch time on Mondays. This club is open to Jr. High students. Come take the challenge and enjoy the chivalry of the game. We're working on competitions with some of the local schools in the area.

Art Club meets with Mrs. Liriano during lunch time on Fridays. Try your hand at a new style, helping your fellow classmates in other clubs, just experimenting with your creative side.

Musical Drama Club is open to Grade 2-8 and is run by Mrs. Meeker. This drama club meets after school on Thursdays in 2009-2010.  This club includes acting, singing, and dancing.

Jr. High Drama Club runs from October through February break. This drama club typically focuses on comedys or speaking dramas.

Recorder Club is a club to fine to your skills on the recorder for Grades 3-5. (For those that want to continue to test for belts in Recorder Karate - just make an appointment with Mrs. Broderick.)

Debate Club ready to be started up again. This is a great place to learn how to express our thoughts without hurting others. Also, sometimes we don't realize how afraid we are to get in front of the camera or just in front of a group. This gives us a fun, informal practice of doing that on topics we like to talk about.
