Hello! My name is Cathy Dickinson and I am the kindergarten teacher at St. Agnes School. I have been teaching since 1974, but the ages and grade levels have varied over the years. I am delighted to be working with the kindergarteners and feel so blessed to be a part of such a wonderful, caring school environment. I believe that the kindergarten year can set the tone for a child's educational success and I consider it my responsibility to make each child's kindergarten experience as positive as it can be. I think that it is important to laugh and have fun, so I try to be sure that there is plenty of room for joy in our classroom!

Our Kindergarten curriculum follows New York State and Diocesan guidelines. It is a blend of hands-on experiences and beginning written or drawn seatwork. We use plenty of movement activities, music, and manipulatives in our lessons. Our Kindergarten students are actively engaged!
